Which game is the best one? Chinatown looks promising as it has great reviews. The others seem 50/50 as people are complaining about various issues about San Andreas, III, etc....

Well, Chinatown was originally a mobile console game, so I expect it to translate well. Vice City was always my favorite. Probably because I love '80s Pop Culture.

I LOVED GTA 2 when it came out on the PC back in the day. GTA 3 was the one where they shifted from the "top-down" look to the 3D perspective. Chinatown was a retro-blast for me because it was the top-down look of GTA 2 that I loved.

Man GTA 2 was a blast, especially when you figured out that you could edit a text file and soup-up the vehicles. Taxis were ubiquitous in that game and jacking a taxi on my game yielded a vehicle that would leave burn marks on the pavement for half the map.

    Good times...
