if i allow it to reboot it goes to a black screen with a white border.
if i send it into recovery it does the same thing. all this after following the instructions on this thread. i am thinking i have installed to kinds of recovery, "rom manager" and "clockwork mod"

could that be the problem?

im just not sure how to get that to my sd card since i cant boot to recovery and i dont have a card reader for it

ROM Manager is an app that installs ClockworkMod Recovery. They're integrated, but only Clockwork is the recovery.

Did you try the file from the thread I suggested?
