    Just my 2 cents, but if we can create RIP threads for actors, comic book writers, athletes, etc. then this one is OK also. Just because he had a political career doesn't make it a political post.

    We were just at the Pacific War Museum in Fredericksburg, TX not to long ago and they have a really interesting gallery about his time served in the Navy.
