I just recently got a Droid 2 (upgrade from my Droid Eris definitely) and I'm having trouble making the downloaded ringtone my default ringtone. I've gotten a few ringtone sites from the droid market and have downloaded a ringtone but when I get done downloading it, it won't se as my ringtone. I've tried the Set As button that I get right after it downloads in the market and I've tried to change it in the Phone Ringtones area of the phone but the song is nowhere to be found. How do I get the song I've downloaded from the Market as my ringtone? Thanks for you help.

check your downloads folder on your sd card.

BTW if you make a folder on your sd card called ringtones, you can put any sound in it and it will show up in your ringtone menu, same applies to notifications and alarms

Connect Droid to PC, mount sd card from notification bar, make folder on sd card like you normally would.

I use Ringtones (free), Androzip (free), and Ringdroid (free) for all of mine.
