Hi, droiders...I have a tiny WAV file I'd like to use as a ringtone, how do I get the Droid to recognize it as a ringtone so I can select it from the ringtone menu? I have a feeling it has to have a certain dot-extension to make the droid recognize it as a ringtone....
Thanks,
Tim

I believe it just has to be an mp3. I use ringtone maker so you can just open that and open the file in it and resave it. Then it'll recognize it

That sounds do-able! Where did you go to get Ringtone Maker?

You can long-press most sound files while in file explorer and it will give you the option to set as ringtone.

You can also use makeownringtone.com. I use it all the time, and it's doesn't require you to download anything.
