Just wait a few days.. we may be getting the update on monday unless you want to hang on to your root access instead of updating?

Personally I rather update and wait on a new root if it breaks. It pretty much got everything I want.. more eye candy, more screens and speed ;P

If the update fixes the root exploit instead of being the 2.1 update you think it is, this is really bad advice.

You probably downloaded a corrupt update.zip file. Go to rootyourdroid.info

yes, this is bad advice. If you want to keep root on your phone do not update via the OTA. It may unroot your phone and even worse could put the stock recovery back on there as well. Of course this isnt guaranteed but I wouldnt take the chance. As soon as the OTA comes you can bet the devs/hackers will release a custom update for us root users

edit* I tried to upload the .zip but the limit on the forum is like 9.54 mb for a .zip file and the update.zip is like 10.17 mb :icon_evil:

edit 2* if you give me your e-mail i can email it to you. I am at work and the firewall blocks filesharing sites so I cant upload it elsewhere
