    Hello, everyone!

I am using this guide to update my stock 2.1 Droid to rooted 2.2. However, I want to be sure that I can return to stock if I need to. I was looking at another guide that shows how to do just this. The problem is that one of the commenters reported not being able to install certain Google apps afterward. Would the best option be to use the same process, except with a 2.0.1 .sbf file rather than the 2.1 one, then just use the official Verizon OTA 2.1 update? Or is there a different way to do this? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Flash 2.0.1 stock then OTA to 2.1, you're unrooted.

    Edit: Remember to wipe! :)

And/or you can d/l rom manager and there are stock roms that are options as well... It should put you back to stock. Also I'm pretty sure it is in the free version... :)
