Hey I need some help with my phone. I had to go get a new one because the headphone jack was bad. I was rooted with sholes and I used MyBackup pro to back up both my apps and data. I got my new phone today and first reinstalled MyBackup pro then installed my apps. I then tried to install the data. Partway through that data restore my phone restarted and the touch screen was unresponsive. I battery pulled and it started back up, but I got a error saying that I have to force close android.process.acore. I do this and the same error message pops up again. I finally had to hard reset the phone. Any idea on what might have caused this so I know what not to do again?

I wild think that the app caused it. Or bad data coming back through the internet.

See I have my backup pro too but if it were me I would have downloaded my paid apps from the market and the rest I'd get back on a as needed basis. You may want to do it that way when you reinstall apps after the wipe.

Funny you should mention Home Run Batttle. I got that game too and when I started it up it went into tutorial, but it only allowed me one session and all my equipment was still there! So you wont lose anything at least on that game.

Funny you should ask because I was trying to restore data from MyBackup Pro the other day and kept getting FC messages about "acore". I was able to specify the contacts, SMS, and a few other items and get around it. But when I selected all the "acore" FC's would not stop. I then remembered I had a nandroid backup so I booted into SPrecovery and did an advanced nandroid restore of /data only. All has been working fine ever since.

Still don't know what to tell you about MyBackup as I never found a resolution. I'd sure be interested if others know about this problem and a possible workaround.
