Restoring apps

How are you all going about doing this?

I thought I would just copy my titanium backup folder on my D1 and transfer it to the Nexus. But now I'm thinking that might not be a good idea. Though none of my apps redownloaded from the market when I activated the Nexus.

So what's the best way to get my apps off of my D1 and onto my Nexus?

Well I decided to try the titanium backup way after reading that it works fine.

But it's not working for me. When I try to restore an app it just hangs there saying it's restoring but it doesn't restore.

Any ideas?
