I have having a little trouble understanding how I should go about restoring my apps and data after installing a new ROM.

I used Titanium Backup to backup the user apps + system data using the batch command.

After loading the new ROM I used Titanium Backup to restore everything. I tried to use the batch command, but it would quit after installing a few of the apps and I would have to exit and restart it. I also had to keep saying that I wanted to install an app - is that normal?

Most everything seems to be back to normal, but non of my special notification/ringtone selections are there. Do I have to restore all of those by hand, or is there a restore that I missed? Is there something different that I will need to back up in order to preserve those settings.

I actually had the same issue on a ROM that was trying out. Switched to CM6 and no problems.
