Reset Question

My tbolt is currently rooted and I'm gonna be selling it to a friend in a couple weeks. I was wondering if I can wipe all the data from the phone with the root and for there to be no way to recover my data (since I backed it up when I rooted) or is that only possible if i go back to stock and wipe data then? basically I just want to make sure that when I hand over the phone there is no way for them to recover any info of mine. thanks.

Then just boot into recovery and wipe data and cache.

If you're giving him the sdcard, make sure to back up anything you want from it and format that as well.
