    Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone migt be able to help me. I rooted my droid wayyy back when it first was possible. Installed several roms and tried a bunch of stuff out but was having issues with FC's all the time. So i was fed up and did a back to stock install following one of the guides on here. No issues works as advertised. I then was reading the other day about all the advances with the OCing and bugless. I wanted in. So i went to re-root via the recovery mode but I cant get it in recovery. I did the whole power on with x and power being held, but nothing happens it just stays on the Motoroloa screen. Phone works fine besides what appears to be no recovery mode. And as i am sure you are all aware no recovery, no root. Any ideas on what I can do to get back into the hacking beauty this phone provides?

    THANKS

When you hold down x and power, are you letting go of power button once the moto logo pops up and just holding x?

You want to root using the update.zip method first, then install sprecovery again.

The back to stack removed nandroid.

Do you have adb installed still? You can try connecting the phone to usb, put phone is usb debug mode, then in adb type:

    adb reboot recovery
