Could someone please make a Smoked Glass green only theme or status bar for ESE81. I'm not advanced enough just yet to do it myself. Or if someone would be willing to help me do it myself would be fine as well.

I've tried installing the glass only theme but still have a black clock and Ive tried pretty much all the methods of changing the clock to white and nothing seems to work or apparently I don't know what I'm doing.

Really all I'm looking for is the smoked status bar with stock icons and a white clock.

    Please and thank-you:)

Reason being is that you are probably a stock rooter and the services.jar is not deodexed. What I mean by that is in /system/framework you have two files that say services.jar and services.odex. In a custom rom there is only services.jar with a size around 512Kb. The services.jar for a stock rooter is around 300bytes.

If you want to keep the smoothness and realibilty of a stock odex'd rom you will need to forget about the little clock...for now. The notification clock doesn't bother me, it is too small for me to see anyway. Personally I would prefer getting rid of it, I have BW for a clock I can see.:icon_eek:

The other them stuff is no problem...

BTW, there is a simple solution for the white clock issue ... :)

i am going to assume that you are running ese 81 update 1 by pete
i have two thoughts on this haveing been a victom of the 2.1 update

first i would suggest that if you have root access and want to stay on the update-1 rom i would check out Petes bb v1 it is built off update -1 just installing this rom you get glass
if you want thir is a smoked glass link as well i have not tried this yet on Petes ese81 stock but i will bet it would

do the bb1 install you wont regret it

For those of us that want to stay at stock 2.1 rooted, a smoked glass theme would be wonderful. I would pay for that. Let me know where to donate :)

I understand that I could got to bb v1.0, but I'm holding off for now. I am a newer droid user, and am trying to get my feet under me before jumping in to custom ROMS.
Honestly, I'm not real excited about not having control of my over/underclocking (bb v 1.0). Smoked Glass or not.

I really do prefer stock and I would also pay for SG theme that worked properly with ESE81. BB v1 is a great rom but I still prefer stock.

Exactly. I like being rooted, stable, and adjust my own Clock speed. Just need the look I want.
