Hey guys. I got the Droid 2 recently, and for one reason or another it notifies me of a text message 3 or 4 times, even after I've read it and clear my notifications.
When I read the text or clear my notifications, it goes away, but sometimes I'll be notified seconds later of the same exact text, sometimes minutes, and even on occasion hours later.
I turn my phone on loud when I go to sleep because I use it as an alarm in the morning. The only other noise it makes are for text messages, and generally if someone is texting me that late, It's something important.
It's frustrating being woken up in the middle of the night by a text I received about 4 hours ago, and responded to.
