So I activate hotspotting on my phone through Verizon. It works great, I name it, but if I toggle it off and then back on the name defaults back to "BAMF HOTSPOT". the password remains unchanged.

Wtf?

BAMF HOTSPOT is not a default, that is something you did :)

Pretty sure it defauts to AndroidAP. I'm guessing you aren't allowing it to save your changes, try making them prior to starting it up. Difficult to tell which order you are doing things in.

Negative. I never labeled anything as that.

That is because of the hotspot widget you are using. Try using this hotspot toggle widget instead:

- It's free
- It uses the native graphics for your android version
- It works on Gingerbread (GN) and Ice cream Sandwich (ICS)
- It does not change the configuration of our hotspot :happy3:
