So there are good amount of tutorials on how to install the bugless beast.... but can someone explain on how to uninstall it?

Although the 800mhz I'm running feels rather nice, I think I preferred the setup I had before :(.
I had the pinch and zoom gallery that had been ported over from the N1, but now with this rom installed the gallery just doesnt seem to update anymore when taking new pictures or dowloading images. I've also experienced quite a few restarts with this in place. Also, it keeps on starting up Dolphin Browser when I'm browsing around online or doing a quick search

    Reboot holding 'x'
    Select "Restore"

(assuming you made a backup before installing the new rom)

i dont remember doing a backup in the recovery screen, just followed this:

    from here:
Root your DROID and install the Bugless Beast ROM - SmartPhoneADDICTED

When booting into recovery and select backup/restore I see:
    simple nandroid backup
    simple nandroid restore
    advanced nandroid backup
    advanced nandroid restore

I rooted with BB 7.5 + overclock + tethering and I'm noticing a lot more force close issues everywhere.

If I uninstall BB and stay rooted, can I still overclock, tether, use busybox and metamorph? If so, what's the point of BB? I don't need > 3 home screens.

yes. To overclock and tether, you will need to install a kernel which supports those features. busybox is just a binary that you can manually install, and metamorph is an app that should just work once you have busybox.

The list of features is available in this thread on AllDroid:

    [ROM 2.0.1] Bugless Beast V1.2 (3/1/10) STABLE

As you can see, Wireless Tethering, Busybox, and the 5-screen launcher are only line-items in that large list of mods that Bugless Beast includes. Any of these mods can be done manually as well, so if you decide you'd rather take your mods "a la carte", you're more than welcome to :) It's a little bit more work, but it's worth it (and you'll learn a lot along the way)

Thanks - with all the Bugless Beast threads everywhere I was having trouble locating a feature list.
