Removing blockbuster, city id & others from DX

There are version apps (like blockbuster, city id, etc) that I don't want on my phone. Is there any way to remove these?

Root. Pick up the paid version of Titanium Backup. Freeze what you don't want to use. Its that or you have to delete or rename the.apk that is each app.

That's right freezing them is the best option. That way you can thaw them out to receive ota's

Yup, everything above sounds good.

And some of the ones you freeze will also go away in your app drawer. Not all, but some.
