I've noticed a few other threads where you guys have listed a few of the apks you've been able to remove without issue. Might be worthwhile to start a single thread.

Im trying to track down where the following apps are bundled:

- Task Manager (Found it, PerformanceManager.apk)
- Skype Mobile VZW (Still have not located a way to remove without buying market apps)

I've removed the following apks without any issues.

Code:
/system/app/MyVerizon.apk
/system/app/CityID.apk
/system/app/YahooContacts.apk
/system/app/SocialMessaging.apk
/system/app/SocialShare.apk
/system/app/Skype_mobile.live.apk
/system/app/FriendFeed.apk
/system/app/BackupAssistanceClient.apk
/system/app/vnav_6.1.0.212_DroidPro_rel_PROD_signed.apk
/system/app/buaContactAdapter.apk
/system/app/UniversalInbox.apk
/system/app/DLNA.apk
/system/app/HelpCenter.apk
/system/app/StickyNoteWidget.apk
/system/app/BackupAssistanceClient.apk
/system/app/BlurAlarmClock.apk
/system/app/BlurUpdater_VZW.apk
/system/app/NewsWidget.apk
/system/app/MagicSmokeWallpapers.apk
/system/app/LiveWallpapersPicker.apk
/system/app/LiveWallpapers.apk
/system/app/WorldClockWidget.apk
/system/app/PerformanceManager.apk
/system/app/mynet.apk
/system/app/VSuiteApps.apk
/system/app/AdServices.apk

Just a quick update. I've removed a few more apk's, the original post is updated.

Additionally I've added the Google Desk Clock and 3D Gallery to the Pro. I prefer both to the Moto Blur components...

Another bump. I've updated the apk list with additional packages that I've safely removed.

All done though adb. I renamed all APKs, copied them to the sdcard for backup purposes and then deleted them from the apps & framework folders.

new convert from BB.....can you provide a little more detail on how to eliminate unwanted applications.

Also....any suggestions on how to extend battery life other than the obvious items? Thanks in advance

There is a a zip file in the D2 section that has all those .apk files, but I'll tell you right now. You made a big mistake getting rid of CityID. That file cannot be reinstalled and you will probably have to find some other way to restore the file. I know because I'm having the same issue.

It could be different because it's the Pro but I kind of doubt it. Anyway go over tot he hacking section of the D2 area in the stickies and you can find the .apk files.
