I just checked the link. It worked fine for me from my droid. Also what errors are you getting? If you guys need it I can upload a mirror, but it won't be for a few hours.

BTW, I already updated to this. Runs smoother than the FR84b, but youtube high qual mode is crap, and kindle won't download books. Other than those two, this ROM runs like a dream, OC to 800Mhz on setcpu.

Just get that mf'ing white notification bar out of here and bring in black!!!!! Someone...please help!!!!

I downloaded the file for sp recovery but when i go to install it cannot find update.zip. I renamed the file like usual. When i go to rename the file it is not coming up as a zip file format for some reason. Any ideas?

This is just a clean ROM with extras.. This is not a themed ROM. This is a good start point if you are looking to add a theme to your ROM or want a clean start to work from with creating your own works. I personally am using DE. Now DE was not made for this build, but you can get it to work if you know what you are doing.

However there are TONS of themes out there and plenty for this build. This just gets you your starting point with the newest release from Moto and Google.

I was using the blackbar theme from sapphire 0.8.4. Will that work? If so I'm in love! But I didn't want to just apply the theme and brick the phone;(

Just back up and give it a shot. It will more than likely work.

You won't brick your device installing a theme : )

Agree with CK.. back it up.. worst case you just go back to it.. but you can browse the forum here. Like the theme section.. it will give you other options and theme ideas to look at. You can even find some that will probably just theme out the notification bar. Just browse through them and they will state if they are able to be used for this build. I know the Saphire and Cyanogenmod and others are built from their source, but a lot of things with themes is just changing out PNG files using things like MM.. So they are universal. Now once you get into the framework and settings things can get tricky depending on how the ROM was built and from what source, but that is the beauty of this forum. The mods and admins and users will always be able to help point in the right direction..

On a side note thank you aggiechase.. this makes my 200th post here, not quite up there with CK and his 5k plus..lol.... hope they weren't all made trying to guess when the original 2.1 was going to be released.. :)

Edit: Sorry, I didn't realize the question was answered already. I am going to work on getting the compatible themes linked in the op for those asking about them.

Yeah, read the op for intructions. These are in nandroid form. Sorry guys I haven't learned how to compile update.zips. let me know if you need more help. Instructions are at the bottom.
