Forgot to flash those. Got it now, thanks.

Thanks for the response Chevy. Moved it over to system/app and it is still not working. Maybe there is a library missing or something. When this happened in the past, dropping tun.ko into /system/lib/modules would fix it.
Other than VPN connections not working, this rom is fast and stable! Great job!
For those having Alarm fc's...I'm attaching a working deskclock.apk (unzip this zip file, the apk is in the root of the zip, do not install this zip from recovery, use root explorer to copy it to /data/app/)
This one fixed it for me.
Is compcache working in this rom?
Battery life is quite impressive. Went just over 32 hours before it died last night. I'd say I'm a light to moderate user. I have 6 widgets running, make a few phone calls, a lot of texting, facebook and twitter, droid forums, and monitor 5 e-mail accounts. 13.5 hours on my second charge with 70% left on the battery. The ROM is definitely a top contender!
I've tried flashing this from rom manager using download rom (rather than rom from sd card), set it to wipe cache and user data, but it only boots to the M logo. Any ideas on how I may be able to resolve or diagnose this? I've left it for 10-15 minutes so far.
did you wipe the dalvik cache too? cuz that seems like the problem
Thanks very much I'd checked the box to, but I've since rebooted to recovery, wiped everything by hand, then reflashed by hand as well and it's started.
Still seem to be having issues with 3g service, but calls aren't coming through either, so it may be network or a dead phone.
I didnt really look for a new version of gapps for CM7. I was still using the version prior. maybe thats why everyone is having issues with different things. Im going to do an update, and release 7.1 possibly tonight. I want to see if this new update will clear up any issues that others have. Thanks for pointing that out. :-D
Is anyone having bootup issues? I wiped EVERYTHING at least 6 times before the initial boot worked. Even then it took about 5-10 minutes to boot. Once running it runs fast, smooth, and good battery life. I have experienced the FC issues already reported a little. There is also a freeze and reboot once in a while. The big problem for me is after any reboot, it will get stuck in a boot loop. I have to pull the battery and let it sit for about 15 minutes. It acts as if it is over heated, but I monitor it when it is running, and it runs cool. Then it takes 1 to several minutes to finish booting, and many boot loops. The only 2 ideas I have are that the voltage might be a hair too low for my droid, or maybe because I flashed it using RZrecovery. Any other ideas?
Over all I love this ROM, and when the bugs are worked out, it will be arguably the best overall performing ROM i've used for the D1.
INCREDIBLE WORK CHEVY!
KEEP IT UP!
PS. Sorry for the encyclopedia sized post.

Chevy, I just wanted to chime in and congratulate you. This 7.0 is just as crisp as I can ever remember anything on my D1. I've had it on since you put up the D/L link and haven't switched Rom's since, and that is from someone who rotates Nandroids multiple times a day.
Btw, what is the Droid Overclock widget on the screenshot in the OP? I don't have that, is it in the optional apps or is that something else? Fwiw, I flashed 7.0 over 6.3 because I was lazy (only use D1 on wifi and wasn't near wifi. Have no service right now as I use my new DInc2) so I may have not gotten the full effect of 7.
