I hope someone else can help because usually wiping everything works for me. Until then, restore a backup and use your previous rom until someone can figure this thing out. Sorry I couldn't be any more help, I tried, if I think of something else I'll let you know.

Edit... Looking through the posts, looks like a 7.1 will be out soon.

I rebooted into recovery and did a Android recovery back to Liquid1.85. Will wait for a not herb update before I go back to Steele 7.0. Liquid is booting up... I'm going to sleep...

CHEVY: your Roms are getting better and better. I have had none of the problems I see on this forum. Well, maybe a miniscule amount compared to some. Bit this one is running GREAT! For me. Droid 1.looking forward to your Continued Rom development.

Thought of something else, try using rzrevcovery, I know sometimes people have problems with cwm, if that doesn't work then I would say wait until 7.1 comes out.

Aldroid33, how long are you waiting while it sits at the M? If you wiped dalvik cache then it takes a long time to get off of the boot logo. Well, a long time relatively speaking. Mine sits on the boot logo for up to 4-5 minutes when I wipe dalvik cache. I sometimes have to do a battery pull, then reboot and it goes faster. Just an idea.

Also want to join the praise club. other than the alarm fc's I've had no problems at all. I do think it froze once on me pretty soon after I installed it. and its rebooted on me once while in my pocket. But everything seems to be running smooth and fast. Especially fast for an OG droid. Even got netflix on here! Good job Chevy!

Anyone else having problems with answering phone calls? Not all, but sometimes when phone rings the incoming call screen displays normally but it will not respond. The last time it happened the phone became totally unresponsive. Had to pull battery.
    Deprimed kernel.

Also want to say this is really nice.
Its quick , loads up web pages fast too.

For two days this has been stable.
This is my first time really running steel droid and if your reading this wondering , load it up.

This is as good as the top players out.

Thanks Chevy! I'll be checking out the future releases and will update with my experience.

I waited a long time. On the first try more than a half an hour. A little less on the second. I wonder if the problem is because I flashed the rom and add on apps together [in CWM]

Some gapps were included in the 7.0 release already. Only a couple of the gapps were moved over into the optional apps zip. I just got a hold of the 20110503 gapps, after a bit of searching and tons of dead links. I will throw together another build, and test it, and if it all seems good to go, I will release it out! :-D
