anyone having issues not receiving text messages? I have SD 8 installed and its running great! Fast, stable, camera works, but have been having problems receiving texts. Here is my set up:
    SD 8
    stock kernel
set CPU set to 850 max, 500 min, screen off profile set to 600max, 500 min
v6 supercharger script on Balanced 1 setting
Handsent SMS set to default SMS/MMS app
messaging app locked in memory in Steel box settings
    widget locker
all apps are up to date, updated roaming and programming

    Anyone else having text issues?

My settings are pretty close. I'm using Chevyno1. 0.8ulv and multi tasking.
Incoming texts no problem but some mms won't download.
    Battery life is awful.
Otherwise it's great. Everything works. Even camcorder.
Battery wasn't much if any better with lower CPU min. I quit using setcpu. Governor set to interactive.

Having same problem, was fine when I was using pansi. Switched over to chomp and I only get my notification if I open the app. Loving the rom, this is my only problem. I use supercharger :it works fine. But the rom is sluggish

have you tried locking the messaging app in memory?? i only use the stock sms, and i don't have any problems getting msgs. also, i'm not having any sluggishness issues at all! i'm using CorCor's 1150 kernel, and it's running flawlessly - haven't even had to try the V6 Supercharger. it may just be due to the vagaries of different phones...

Locked in memory, chomp could be using more memory than stock and pansi messaging. Just used supercharger to see if it was SD, chomp worked fine using supercharger

For those of you that are using the supercharget script, I jujst want to let you know that quite a bit of the optimizations from that script are built into my rom already. Don't know what that would affect if ujsing the script on tip of that though.

Do you have a idea why I can't get my notifications with chomp. The rom is one of the best if not the best gingerbread rom out. Kudos

I never had much luck with Chomp, Handcent, or any other SMS app. They didn't seem very easy to use, and I do remember most of the time not getting my messages unless the app was in memory.

I will download both aqnd give them a shot again.

hello, I am looking for kernel recommendations as I have tried using the original kernel, Chevy's kernels and Prime's kernels only to get about 6 to max 7 hours of moderate use. Do any of you have any ideas on other kernels that work well with this rom?

    Thanks
