imo this room is very underrated and should be way more popular

i tried many room including bugless beast(very stupid 180 degree auto turn, cant watch or browse internet while on couch >:O), liquid GB 2.6(very buggy), chevy ss(ugly blue, icons and wallpaper), miui(very slow), sorcery

this is is probably the best rom out there

i wish i could find the download links for corcor v3 kernel's so i can get a faster overclock but its not up on his website :(

i see that you are gonna release the 9.0 soon

i mainly use my phone for email, web browsing, youtube, watching dota /2 livestream's

i used to be running liquid gb 2.6 and corcor 1150 kernel and have excellent flash player performance aside from very buggy liquid gb 2.6

i wanna be able to watch livestream from justin tv or own3d on my phone but it is very laggy

can you put some tweaks specific for flash player to improve its performance?

i know that htc have specialised there software and can play flash videos with worse hardware like np

Ok guys, its official. Im back up and continuing dev work on the D1. Its been out of commission for a while due to various reasons, but is back on track now. It wont be as often, or maybe as complete, but its definitly coming back up, and will be based on 2.3.7, CM 7.1. Due to the fact that I had to resync ALL my source from scratch is going to set me back a bit, but I will merge in updates as I have time. Thank god I still own my D1. I love it, but its getting outdated quickly. I am going to be working with a couple other select devs on getting more packed into my next update. The next revision will be 9.0, in case you all were wondering. dancedroid

OK guys, I am currently theming/building/testing my v9.0 right now. I wont hold back details. Its based on 2.3.7, and will have parts of the system themed from ICS as best I can. I cant eliminate ALL of the green color, but Im trying. :-D

    Elixir Widgets don't work

I just installed this ROM as well as Elixir Widgets (along with Elixir 2). Whenever I create a widget, it tells me "Not enough space. Operation Failed!" even though I'm trying to create a 1x1 widget on a blank home screen. Unfortunately, I never tried Elixir on my stock phone without SD or Go Launcher EX. I suspect that one or both of these (most likely the latter) are contributing to the problem (which isn't to say that Elixir isn't at fault). I know this isn't an Elixir support forum but can anyone confirm that they have Elixir widgets functioning under Steel Droid/Go Launcher EX? If so, did you have to do anything special? I'd like to try it without Go Launcher, but I'm not sure how to disable it since it's a system app on SD.

ok im a novice and know just enough to be dangerous to my phone. lol.. I have used psouzos method and created a nandroid backup, and i have tried to mess up the original os and to restore it and am good at both now.:D

I would like to try a diffrent os now, can you help me in a simple man language way to load the steel os?

Probably would be a good idea to clarify what you mean...by messing with the os do you mean editing things within the rom (like build.prop, sysctl values, etcetera) or do you mean editing the actual android os code (basically using a knowledge of Linux coding)?
There's a big difference being good at messing around within the rom (like me) and being able to edit the actual coding (mainly only developers do that)

I'd love to try testing it out too, I'm addicted to tweaking settings and things like build.prop and even sysctl values so I know my way around a rom and I use my phone constantly so I'd definitely notice most bugs wherever they might be hidden
