This is in the Droid 1 section. You should head over to the Steel Droid-D3 section for better feedback.

No sorry. This is for the Droid 1 only.

I'm having a problem with playing music. I use the default google music player with the widget on one of my home screens. every few minutes the music will skip and make a stuttering noise for about .5 second. i previously was on SS 5.6 and never had this issue.

I've monitored my phone with Android system info while this is going on but I can't see any process that spikes to 100%. Not sure what's causing it. I've disabled the music player widget lock screen since I didn't use that in SS5.6 but that didn't help.

I think I just fixed it (hopefully). I've been listening to some tunes through headphones for the past 10 minutes and haven't had 1 skip.

I used this app, https://market.android.com/details?...1bGwsMSwxLDEsImRlLm1laHJtYW5uLnNkYm9vc3RlciJd , and set my SD card read speed down to 1024 (KB). The default for SD9.0 is 3076 which obviously my OG Droid has problems with or my specific SD card. This makes sense, since I believe SS5.6 did not have this set to this value and had a specific menu item where you could alter this setting (and I never changed it with that rom).

Durandgir - I've looked around on google, if the above does not fix the problem for you, I've also read that have the low CPU value of 125 can cause this, and it should be raised to 250 or 400 MHz. I use 250 / 800 MHz for my OC setting.

Sorry if this has already been answered but I'm having major issues with my battery. I got 5 hours with texting and 20 minutes of 3G internet browsing. Any ideas?

Either try switching the kernal or mess around with the cpu speeds and governors

    download this, https://market.android.com/details?...t#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS50b29scy5wb3dlciJd

most likely it's the power widget in the status bar. i have this issue in all 2.3.x roms.

can also try this to see if anything is stuck at 100% CPU, https://market.android.com/details?...1bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5lbGVjdHJpY3NoZWVwLmFzaSJd

most likely you need to calibrate the battery...its a common issue over all roms

    Thanks for all the advise.
I got rid of advanced task killer but it seems the same.

I downloaded the app and nothing was hogging CPU so it makes me think that it's the CPU speed on standby that's killing it.

I've already calibrated the battery with no success.

I switched to chevy's ulv 1.2GHz on the smartass governor. The phone's always warm so I think it's idling at a high CPU speed.

Could the battery life have anything to do with the ROM? Would reinstalling the ROM help?

If any one wants to suggest some changes that might be nice (graphically), to v10.0, then let me know. I might be pushing up the release date quite a bit.

I love the interface. I can't go back to a stock droid now. Only issue now is my battery life (5 hours of minimal use). Any idea what it could be? I'm reflashing 9.0 to see if it fixes anything. All CPU settings are left to default. Nothing running in the background that pulls data.

I can think of 2 things that I really just noticed today. Maybe possibly the text of the clock on the lockscreen like more ICS like because it just looks so out of place with the roboto font, and darkening the pull down notification power widget the grey just kind of looks so out of place. other than that your theming is phenomenal and better than other theme attempt roms

Well that is surely good news...the one thing that jumps out to me is the top battery bar. If you are going for ics blue, that would be perfect.

I think your right about the clock font. I liked Roboto, but with ICS, it does seem a bit misplaced. Anyone have a link to a font file for the ICS font that they like? I prefer one with a screenshot of some kind, so it makes judging it a bit easier.

Yeah, Im looking up the HEX code for it now..............

From a post by sslayer22 on Android Forums:

    Code:
    official xml: [B][COLOR=Black]33B5E5[/COLOR]
    [/B]above ss signal & wifi: [B]298EB5
    [/B]above ss indicator & dialer #s: [B]47DDFE[/B]
    above ss horizontal bar: [B]2A6A86[/B]

    Please use #ff00caff
That is pure ICS Blue right there. R3Ds shared that hex code with me as he is the one who created Liquid's ICS theme

Well, this would be useful if you added a color changer feature

I guess the HEX Code I provided is a different type?

FF33b5e5 is the one that comes up as default in many of the ROMs I am running on my Nexus. I also pulled an image from the framework and use GIMP to get the hex off it to double check and it came up the same.

Bruhniggs, the one you provided is real close, looks just a bit brighter though.

Haha, yeah. But if it is ICS Blue then it's good. This is part of the reason why I dont use SD 9 because of the Dark Blue colors of the notification bar. I'm a bit picky when it comes to themes and I like to make my Droid look like an exact replica of ICS and no additional MODS implemented in - unless if it looks beautiful. ;)
