    Awesome

Got my D3 in the mail two days ago and promptly slapped it up with some SD ICS. Runs so smooth. Just waiting for my battery stats to even out after clearning battery and dalvik cache.
I don't have any service at the moment because I'm in kuwait but as soon as I get back to the states and reconnect to Verizon I'll post how stuff works.

I have been using SD 4.6. Just flashed SD5.6. Rock solid so far. No complains except for the camera not focusing. Great job Chevy.

I've figured out that I can't hear phone call audio while bluetooth is turned on. I turn off bluetooth and then I have phone call audio. I haven't tried it during a call, but it seemed like something I should share with you guys. so far this rom has made me love my phone again.. just need to fix call audio and video codecs :)thanks

This is a Netflix question: Have a rooted Droid 3, running Safestrap 1.08, with 5.7.906 as my stock ROM and SD ICS on my safe ROM. I can use Netflix on my phone with 5.7.906 but when I hook my phone to TV using HDMI cable I get good video but garbled sound. Is this a common problem? Root problem? Any help is appreciated. If a root problem, how do I reverse the process to get back to stock ROM?

    photo shooting issue

Just wanna share with you guys, since the built in camera doesn't work properly with auto focus, I found that Camera Zoon FX works great, auto focus works fine, photo shoot can be fast and easy now.

    Lockscreen is not showing up.
I tried all different lockscreens, but it's not showing up after power-off.

I have a few Exchange accounts which must be protected by a password. But even without an Exchange Client, the Lockscreen is not showing up.

im on SD 5.5 and i have experienced this. ive found that if i close the keyboard it comes up or close the virtual keyboard because i have autorotate turned off.

also, ive been using camera zoom fx and i really like it. you can set the volume keys to take the picture instead of zoom in/out if you want to. I like it because it gives me a physical button to press so if my gf and i take a pic of ourself we dont have to search for the button on the screen since the front facing camera doesnt work.

one last thing. on 5.6 is under rom control>performance is there a way to set the scaling governer to ondemand? i switched back to 5.5 because i had really bad batt and i think a few other things on 5.6 that i didnt like right away but i had forgotten about the scaling gov.

    Current Phone Model:
Nexus 6P, VZW Note Edge, D1
Unfortunately, I think it might be the end of the line for my support for the D3. Its not as fast or as smooth (by any means) a phone, as compared to other, more affordable, current devices. Im actually thinking about selling my D3, and putting that money toward something newer, like an SGS3, or Nexus 7. I dont really know where my D3 even IS right now. I use it that much. I hardly touch my D1, but its like its made of steel.....DROID! lol It just keeps going, and its always going to be my backup phone (god forbid I actually need to use it for that purpose.

HOWEVER, if I manage to get a kexec build running on my D3, I MIGHT continue work on it, but it wont be much. The VZW Galaxy Nexus is taking up my time right now. Its a lot of fun, and its smooth as hell. I ALMOST like it better than an SGS3 (played with one a month or so ago, and it was great, but just didnt feel sturdy physically, and figured the screen might also eventually get "burn'ins" like the GNex. But other than that, its a very nice phone.

I do have one question before you quit though. I just discovered this and like it, all except for fact the SMS doesn't vibrate when I receive a message. Is this normal?

Chev, I know you want to move on to bigger and better projects, but we as a community would be very appreciative of you if you manage to complete SDv6.

Hey chevy, thanks for all the great work on D3 and SD in general. When I bought Galxy Nexus for my wife, I was confused with so many ROMs, but when I saw that you had one, I just flashed it without any hesitations! Thanks for SD2.8Gnex and also sd5.6d3, sd4.6d3. Btw, sd4.6d3 I think is the best ROM ever for d3. I used to have some gps issues on it, but I clean wiped and flashed and its super smooth on D3. Really appreciate your work.
