    are you using the update.zip or the nandroid backup?

    nandroid method. maybe it has to do with how my mac is unzipping that file... i simply unzipped it and ended up with like i said, several folders and one boot.img. looks like this... sdcard/nandroid/simplystunning/ then the system file, meta file, and boot.img are in there...

    hmmm that sounds right and such. I wanna say I was having the same issue at first but I redownloaded the file and cleared a couple of the many backups i had in my nandroid folder out and it worked for me

    If you still wouldn't mind looking at my Logcat it's attached. I'm still getting some higher temps sometimes. Thanks.

    Sure man - can you throw it in a txt file though - don't have Word or OpenOffice installed currently

    I had it in a .txt file initially but it exceeded the file size limit for Droid Forums.

    OK - zip the txt file, it should compress down probably 90%

    This appears to be a logcat from a startup, or towards the end of it? If so, I see mid 40's even while the phone is getting everything setup - if this logcat is from rest and seeing high temps, then disregard ...

    You're saying that you see high 40's on your phone during the setup? I believe my phone had been restarted about 5-10 minutes prior to running the logcat.
