Release Model Issues

I have a DX from release.
I have noticed it gets increasingly hot when I run it for a long time, the plastic rubber thing near the bottom of the battery melted off, and the buttons are starting to wear already...
Will Verizon replace my phone for a newer one?

Doubt their gonna replace it cause its worn. And the battery getting hot could be alot of things (depending on how hot could also be normal), but honestly most likely not a defect IMHO.
