I downloaded these this morning. I don't think they look right though. They repeat themselves.
I am assuming that is launcherpro, the latest version has an option to hide icon labels (ie titles).
Other custom launchers have this option as well.
how did u get rid of the settings/ etc buttons on the top of pure calander?
or is that a different app?
I notice on the second page Hanover has teh same problem with the double icon. I downloaded mine and have the same as Vulcan. I tried the hide Icon and thats it all it did was hide all the Icons. Any Ideas?
I'm using Tag Home for my Launcher. I like the icons but not that way. Is there a way I can go back to the stock icons now?
Download the stock icon pack that is available in DarkEdge UI thread.
These icons are intended to be used with a launcher that hides the app titles. That's why the first image in my OP says 'sans title' as it does indeed look silly to have the text in the image and then also labeled underneath.
I think that that is the stock calender widget but its themed to be transparent.
Hey, no problem. Can you tell me of a launcher that would turn them off? I'd really like to keep the icons you created. Thanks for the reply too.
Both LauncherPro and ADW both have the feature. You could download the stock version of either (from the market) or if you check in this section of the forums, we've got a DE themed version of ADW if that tickles your fancy.
I just d/l the ADW because I've never heard of it or tried it. I am not sure which setting to change because the icons still have the double text like contacts/Contacts.
Nevermind, found it....excellent!
When sitting @ a homescreen, press the menu key so the options pop up from the bottom, choose ADW settings. Then select UI settings, scroll all the way down and you'll find an option @ the bottom that says "Hide Icon Labels"
Vulcan: go into ADWsettings, ui settings, at the bottom Hide Icon Labels. This is what Koveleski had me do and worked. Lol he beat me to it.
