Simply amazing. The icons that originally came with DE were great, but these outshine those tenfold. Thank you!

Here's my setup, using Folder Organizer (as always).

Kov thanks for the info! I made all of these icons, minus the settings one, because of you!!!
Also thanx to ipapun; I also borrowed from his devine icons & frostman; I used his Darkedge icons he released from
    the DE beta period.

I downloaded these this morning. I don't think they look right though. They repeat themselves.

I am assuming that is launcherpro, the latest version has an option to hide icon labels (ie titles).

Other custom launchers have this option as well.

I notice on the second page Hanover has teh same problem with the double icon. I downloaded mine and have the same as Vulcan. I tried the hide Icon and thats it all it did was hide all the Icons. Any Ideas?

I'm using Tag Home for my Launcher. I like the icons but not that way. Is there a way I can go back to the stock icons now?

Download the stock icon pack that is available in DarkEdge UI thread.

These icons are intended to be used with a launcher that hides the app titles. That's why the first image in my OP says 'sans title' as it does indeed look silly to have the text in the image and then also labeled underneath.

    Sorry dude :(

Hey, no problem. Can you tell me of a launcher that would turn them off? I'd really like to keep the icons you created. Thanks for the reply too.

Both LauncherPro and ADW both have the feature. You could download the stock version of either (from the market) or if you check in this section of the forums, we've got a DE themed version of ADW if that tickles your fancy. :p

I just d/l the ADW because I've never heard of it or tried it. I am not sure which setting to change because the icons still have the double text like contacts/Contacts.

    Nevermind, found it....excellent!

When sitting @ a homescreen, press the menu key so the options pop up from the bottom, choose ADW settings. Then select UI settings, scroll all the way down and you'll find an option @ the bottom that says "Hide Icon Labels"

    Success!

Vulcan: go into ADWsettings, ui settings, at the bottom Hide Icon Labels. This is what Koveleski had me do and worked. Lol he beat me to it.

Man, you were ready for me. I posted, and immediately edited and said I found the setting, and I see you posted the instructions. I appreciate it. Not sure I'm thrilled about the ADW yet. I don't like how the app drawer icons scroll left to right and seems slow. I also like 4 little icons at the bottom. Maybe this screen will grow on me though. I'll give it a day.

I'm really glad the icons look correct now. Thanks again!

Oh, can you theme Handcent icon next release? It's an ugly blue color and I hate it.

You can turn off the side to side scrolling by going into ADWsettings, Drawer Settings, and uncheck "horizontal drawer".

There's a lot of options to be played with. :p

Play around with the tons of settings Vulcan. ADW is very nice, fast and smooth.

The settings can get overwhelming at first but once you get the hang of it you can dial it in to whatever you want.
