Left side, not becuz it's in DE, cuz it just looks natural since we read left to right. Although the 2 opposing bookend look of your browser and phone does look pretty cool there.

styling of the left side. I like that the line covers the entire height of the dock.

I agree, left side. It's more of a finished look.

If you do decide to do it I'd make the book ends an optional launcher to download.

I think it's too much, but thats just my personal opinion.

Can not seem to install it.

Does adw need to be uninstalled first? Does this require root?

Yes, uninstall your previous version first. That's my fault, I should've clarified that in the OP. And root shouldn't be an issue as its based on the market version.

Thanks! Someone should really make an app that will restore these icons and shortcuts! :)

Is everything suppose to look like what is shown in the OP? Just installed and I still have original status bar, google search isn't like shown, power bar, etc..

Unless you are using DarkEdge, don't expect the features to magically appear in this launcher, lol. The statusbar/power widget are parts of the DarkEdge UI. If you want those themed, you need to use the theme itself.

All that is changed in this is the search widget, dock background and AllApps icon. Oh, and the icons in the widget popup.

OH - google search WON'T look right if you aren't using the theme. it pulls the file from the framework for the border.

So yeah, I'd advise anyone who's attempting to use this 'mod' of ADW to be a user of DE prior.

    Sorry man.

Kov, you should ax the "dots" on the side of the tray. It distracts from the rest of the launcher.

I believe the BB 1.1 DE port was released today in that section.

The dots can be removed in ADWSettings. Go to UI Settings and make sure "Desktop Dots" is unselected. Presto - no more ugly.

You should just install it like any other apk, just take the apk out the .zip put it on your sd card. UNINSTALL your current version of ADW. Then using a file manager, re-install with Kov's themed one.
