Reinstalling Mynet.apk

Looked for this everywhere and tried to reinstall but can't get it to install. Downloaded apk, moved to system/app changed permissions and installed. Rebooted. Not working? Can anyone help me out with this?

I've never been able to get it to work, either. AFAIK it will only work on the stock rom (although to be honest it never worked great for me on that either). I've had good luck with OpenGarden, never got Wifi tether for root users to work, though.

Maybe you need to chown (change owner), I am currently running CM so I am unable to view the owner of mynet.
