sorry, it's actually tesla flashlight. Got the s and l backwards. And looks like mototorch is still having issues based on the comments in the market. It doesn't force close anymore but now the leds won't come on.

Actually, I think that you may have modded the services.jar incorrectly somehow. Please forgive my bluntness, but I've just modified the stock services.jar to have the white color for everything (text, date, ongoing, latest, no notifications, roaming, and network text) and it's working perfectly just like stock, and MotoTorch works like a charm. Now, I did this by manual editing of the smali files, not using ColorChange.jar (which may have caused your problems if you used it).

I'm posting my services.jar, just in case you want to test it out, and I can post my actual modified smali files if you like.

Edit: And I forgot to mention that I used the latest 1.2.2 smali/baksmali package

I didnt use colorchanger.jar ill compare mine with yours and see what up! thanks for posting this! I was using an older version of smali/baksmali but I dont think that would cause the issue!

Brain, I just dropped the service.jar file onto Black Ice (unmodified except that file) and still no go with the Mototorch. Let me know if you package something and need a tester.

Well maybe thats why. I got rid of the application a long time ago, no real need for it cause i usually always have a real flashlight with me, part of the job, so i was just testing it with the newer ones. Cant blame me for trying. lol.

dont want to hijack, i posted this over on mdw, per btdownloads7 the services.jar file seems to be the culprit

    sg4update.zip

thats a smoked glass theme, with the htc notification bar. settings & music themed, market, etc too

i cant find any issues with it besides the font color of the status bar when closed (is still black and never got around to finding its values again)

mototorch works like a champ :D

feel free to disassemble and go nuts on it
