So I got my new phone from Verizon and I'm thinking its a refurb. I'm just gonna call tech support this time. Do you think they'll listen to a 15 year olds problems? Cuz this phone has alot of problems...

If you think that tech support won't listen, no worries...we will - what kind of issues are you having ?

Two dead pixels (tried those apps in the market for a fix, didn't work). And under my screen aloung the edges where the lights are, its blue and gives out a bluish tint on the screen. You can only see it on a dark screen om max brightness. And the screen looks offset.

Yeah I would definitely call them and nicely explain the issue. I think you will find the nicer you are the more likely they will help you out. Just my opinion. How long have you had the phone?

This is the "brand new" replacement I got yesterday.
What do you think they'll do for this?

They should replace it for you. Not sure if they will offer you a new phone or a certified like new replacement. Definitely give them a call though.

Thanks. I will. Think they'll listen to me or should I ask one of my parents to do it

Well if it's your parents account than one of them will probably need to call.

I did call and nicely explain the issue. I'm getting a certified "like new" replacement for it.
What if that one is worse than the one I have now?

If for some reason it's in worse condition, make the call again and tell them about it. I can say from experience my certified like new droid 1 truly was like new. In fact it was in perfect condition. You will read of some people having horror stories with replacements but I think that's because people tend to talk or write more about a bad experience over a good experience. I hope all goes well with your replacement though! Let us know.

Thank you, that gives me hope that most refurbs aren't actually bad, and its only the bad experiences that are ever really posted.
Maybe some of your luck will rub off on me and mine will really be 'like new' :):Ddancedroid

Will let you know how it is!
