This might be really stupid of me but I wanted to go back to stock bb 0.4 from a themed version of 0.4 so i just reflashed it without wiping data/clearing cache and now everything is force closing on me and my phone is acting up. I went in to rom manager to try to reflash and wipe data/cache and superuser permissions force closes so i cant do that...whats the best sollution? any help would be amazing.

I suggest booting into recovery and installing the backup you made of stock. If you did not make a back then restore the last one you made. From there you can install bb without a theme.

A good practice, whenever you are making a change to your OS (new rom, new theme) make a backup first then make the change.

    Hope this is helpful.

just downloaded the bb 0.4. zip and booted into clockwork recovery. wiped data etc and installed manually. seems to be okay now. I never rooted/installed roms til rom manager came out so I never had to do any of this manually. i guess i got confused for a second. things seem to be okay now. thanks for your help!!

Glad you got things back in working order. RM has a feature that prompts you to backup so take advantage of it. It only takes a few minutes and you can delete old backups but it can save you hours of work and frustration.

Sorry for my last post. I'm working with another member and got confused.

I'm not remembering -- does BB require you do install a market fix?

Are you abel to access the market and install other apps?

turns out i had a backup in rom manager from early august, things are back to normal now....if i wanted to install a new theme can i just install it over the current theme. like say i have bugless evolution and wanted to go to smoked glass, can i just flash smoked glass over evolution??

I think that will work. I'm cautious so I would restore a backup that did not contain a theme then add the new theme.

Yeah I found that keeping a stock backup of BB helps so much when installing new roms and don't like them just restore BB and all is better.
