Could you tell me how did you get the 5 slot launcher?
love this red theme. no issues or anything. i actually stopped using live wallpapers, the performance is so much faster. cant believe i've been using the phone all this time and never noticed how much of a performance difference it made, even when overclocked to 1.2GHz
great theme though man, everything looks so wonderful. only issue i think i had was trying to see the % of my download in the notification bar. it was in black text on a black background
is there a way i can manually uninstall the file manager? i already have this makes 3 file manager apps, would like to get rid of the one that came with this
Hey...where can I get an alternate kernel for this rom? now that I got it working, I don't wanna jinx myself by grabbing the wrong thing...
#1-- oops, didn't mean to post the kernel question here...
#2-- while I love the RedRum theme...it killed my TCFroyo...so...I guess I'll wait on that one...
Thanks. just noticed that mines crashes too. Going to do the same thing you did =)
I noticed when someone's calling, the sliders are grey, no colors on them.
Has anyone found a good red icon pack?
I also did this, but it seems to revert back to force close after about 1o mins. Also root explorer needs to be reinstalled at the same interval.
This runs amazingly well.
I'm not the only one! I tried to ask how to pull the icons from the rom but have yet to get a response. Boo.
Do you want to pull the icons? or change them?
The app launcher icons are in each individual .apk residing in /system/app
Pull all the .apks out, extract on your pc. find the folder drawable-hdpi
there will be a bunch of pngs in that folder.
just about all the app icons will be named ic_launcher_whateverappyouwant.png
You can use the program 7Zip to extract apks.
drag and drop icons of your choice into the appropriate folders of course.
put the apk back into /system/app, make sure permissions are set to 644 and reboot.
Your new icons should now be installed.
Btw, this is the long way to do this.
Of course Metamorph would work too, but then you'd need to setup a MM file to make it work.
Supposedly Ninjamorph on the market (paid) can do this too.
