No, probably not your fault. I was able to reproduce the problem, and it is easily corrected by wiping system before a rom update.zip install. I really have no idea what is up with the update.zip system format method but it does not agree with my recovery. It corrupts the entire partition unless wiped first...

No fix ETA at this time, will require more investigation

Ive been installing ROMs with clockwork for ever and I know that different recoveries have different steps to installing ROMs. Can I follow instructions to installing roms for SPR or does this recovery have specific steps that I can follow?

I ran into the same issue of not being able to flash a ROM without wiping. Not a biggie as I usuallly do that anyways.

On that note, do you think it'd be possible to incorporate a wipe all option in the partition menu? Just to make it quick and easy.

There's a bug that you need to wipe the system partition befor installing a ROM, but other than that you just need to have it on the root of your sdcard. You don't need to rename it like SPR.

That would be great and while we'r at it I personally missed the ability to have my update.zip's in folders on my sd, but that's just me

I have resolved the system wipe & update.zip bug, added a wipe all option to wipe menu. (wipes system, data, boot, cache, misc)

I would like to incorporate the ability to search for update.zips in folders, but so far that is beyond my C ability. So is custom colors :/

I will make what I have into an SBF and release as 0.1.5, I have tested LFY 1.9, LFY 2.0a, sapphire 1.1.1, empowerment, charity smoked glass without wiping and everything is good.

IMG is what I make first, then I hex-edit its contents into an SBF. making it into an SBF is tedious but I do it for those who arent already running RZR or don't want to try to install the IMG.

without a doubt....I think SPRecovery is excellent but with RZ's edits this recovery is on another level.

I'm gonna watch this one too. And BTW the correct chmod for flash_image would be 755, AFAIK.
