error 28 is caused by md5sum not matching what is was when the backup was taken. I plan to remove md5sum checking and creation altogether to make the backups it creates truly editable with no caveats, not to mention that much faster.

nandroid is just a (2,126 line) shell script...

raidzero been running and testing for a full day now. Runs flawless. I've always ran Sprecovery and this is a GREAT upgrade.

I HIGHLY recommend anybody that has not installed CW and likes Sprecovery to try this out. It's fantastic. Good job.

    Thanks, CK!

tp76, I just finished removing all the md5sum and other non-droid stuff from the nandroid script. This means you will be able to edit your backups and rename them all you want and it won't care. Should also speed up backup/restore since it will not ever calculate the md5sum. This will be in the next release.

Just did my first back up and install. Went flawless, much faster than CWR. I love this, I always liked SPR more but I hated the update.zip when I wanted to flash multiple things (ROM, kernel, theme, etc.) Thank you very much!

Do the CWR recoveries work yet? I'v only ever used CWR so thats where all my backups have come from but if they work with this then there's no reason not to flash it lol

Not yet, sorry. I still haven't got down reading and writing files in C yet

(also why custom colors and any other settings that will persist across reboots are not working)

You can just make a new backup once in RZR and any future ones would of course work.

yea well now that isn't the only thing stopping me from flashing it lol i couldn't get it to flash using TE (something about not having enough memory) and i dont have access to my usb cable (left it in a friends car... somewhere...)

apparently unsuccessfully flashing a recovery is a bad thing lol... i just tried to reboot recovery and it just sat at the M for a long time b4 turning off and then booting up normally... gunna try flashing CWR again

what rom are you on? you put the IMG file on SD card and did this, right:
    Code:
    $su
    #flash_image recovery /sdcard/RZR-0.1.4.img

I provided the flash_image binary file in the OP if your rom does not have it.
