How long is awhile? My backup takes about 15 minutes to backup and I think like 25 minutes to restore or something...

Roger I'll leave it to restore while I sleep. I'm currently using Liberty and just trying to get used to this. Thanks for the reply.

Although I can't promise that it's your problem and it just needs to sit, it could be something else I just don't know what it is.

Whoa, wait a second here. You need your contacts restored? They should be in your gmail. Just sync the phone to gmail and your contacts should be restored, that's your back up.

I checked gmail and there are no contacts if I can't go back to my restore ill just start from scratch with Liberty. Do I need the original restore for any reason?

Oh jeez, what did I do....Now that I read it like 10 times over, if you restore your old backup and if it wasn't of Liberty, Liberty has just left the phone. Your not restoring a old backup to a .340 OTA, right? That bricks the phone. Hookbill is right, contacts should be synced with Gmail. What was I thinking. (Atleast I didn't suggest restoring)

Did you make that back up before or after you took the .340 ota update?

I'm a little confused what is .340 ota update. I made the back up while I was v2.2.1 with no mods
