Since you cant have Sense on a DROID (with the exception of ZEUSDROID), has anyone thought/tried rebuilding Rosie? The things developers can do these days, it boggles me why somebody hasnt tried yet..

i'm sure someone would have tried that before they started the whole zeusdroid rom. it probably didn't work. but if someone did get it to work that would be awesome

Rebuilding something assumes you have source code to work with. Otherwise, its just another hackjob that may, or may not, work.

if im not mistaken htc gives out source code quite often. last month they gave out the source codes to all of their kernels.

I don't see them giving out the source code to their proprietary UI.

    Yep, blazingwolf is correct.

HTC released the source for their kernel because its open source.

Sense is not open source, whatsoever.

I agree... I really just don't think we'll ever see HTC release Sense UI source code... not from the ones that sent the "Beautiful Widgets" developer a C&D because his clock resembled the Sense UI clock... and you can't blame them either.

Personally though... you can keep Rosie... she's nothing but a memory hog.
