Droid R2D2 smiles help thank you?

I just got my Droid 2 tuesday. The only thing not working are my droid smiles. When is end them in a message they don't pop up as droid robots just regular smiles. Anyone else ever experience this or know how to fix this thanks.

By the looks of it your phone didn't come with them. If you use the Handcent SMS Message app there is a plugin for those smileys. I use Handcent and love it, it's very customizable.

the androids came with the phone its just when i try and use them they send liek normal smiles not sure why. just downloaded the handcent sms app ill see if it works. thanks for replying to my message.

Clarify what you mean. Are you saying that the sent messages don't have the smilies on your device or that the recipients aren't getting them? If it's the latter, there's nothing you can do about that.
