I downloaded one of those wallpapers of the hottie in a bikini (sorry to any ladies that read this thread). It was an app that you could pay for the wallpaper but, I have no clue where they stored it in my phone. I want to switch wallpapers but won't until I know where this one is hidden at. I have astro, so capable of searching..

If you bought it off the market its probably in data/apps like all the others. Can't see in there unless rooted though.

    end of line...

Then should be able to search in data/app and find it.

    end of line...

even if you are on a fresh install of a rom you should have apps in /data/app

    from android shell:

    Code:
    #Gain root access
    su

    #Enter app directory
    cd /data/app

    #List packages
    ls

this should show the packages installed on your device; you can use Root Explorer to re-install the package

Astro doesn't have root privileges. You need a file explorer that with root access to see in there.

It's probably on your SD card. Look in the android/data folder, or look for a folder with the apps name. You can also dl flickie wallpapers from the market. It has a "save current wallpaper" function.

Ok so I gave it a try through an emulator. Had to do:
    Su
    Cd /data
    Cd app
    Ls

It didn't find any app that was the wallpaper app. I think I need to track down the image rather than the app. Next going to peek through the sd card as advised, will update shortly
