Read an article about S4, said something about new version in june?

I came across this article

Samsung Galaxy S4 named top smartphone by Consumer Reports - CNN.com

Down in the last paragraph it says this

Google announced a new version of the Galaxy S4 that will run a pure form of the company's Android mobile operating system. That unlocked and uncluttered phone will cost $649 when it becomes available at the end of June.

Anybody know anything about this? I am going to be ordering a S4 and paying full retail so if a new version without all the bloatware is coming I will wait for that

I don't think it'll work on Verizon. I'm pretty sure I read an article that said AT&T and t-mobile only.
