Don't take it wrong but, shouldn't be a problem isn't anything close to "yes, it works on the Maxx."

There is no sbf file for my carrier. It probably wouldn't, BUT, IF it bricked it. Guess what. I can't fix it.

When I read the phones that had ben tried and known to work all it lists is the Razr.

Can someone please give me an answer? There r are some apps I've used for a long time that require root. Would like to know for ure. THANKS!

Come on folks. I ask a simple legit question. I get 1 useless answer. All I want to know is if zergrush will work on the Maxx.

I have used it before and I think it is the best out there. . Certainly the easiest.

I need root for some apps. I don't ROM because Bluegrass Cellular doesn't have an sbf.

Would someone with a rooted Maxx please let me know.

    Thanks

    Relax guy.

Is bluegrass GSM or CDMA? If it is GSM look here http://www.razrforums.com/forum/showthread.php?p=35699 there is a root method specifically for the GSM RAZR AND RAZR MAXX.

If it is CDMA zergrush should work fine...

I'm not up to speed on what the updates are in relation to your 4.0.4, but it seems as of recently the XDA thread for Zergrush has turned to MotoFail to root. I don't know that it works with your off brand however.

That's a shame to. Zergrush was/is as easy as it gets! I've always used it on my X. I have used it for friends on numerous Xs and X2s. Truthfully, I guess I will just wait until DooMLord gets it sorted out. He will. Honestly. Except for the speed and battery life I preferred my X. I should have bought another one. The ICS SUX IMHO. I ran a 3500mah battery so even that was just as good.....
I made a pretty expensive mistake
