Anyone have any idea why a 5 second video clip of qvga is over 2mb? I took a 40 second clip using VGA and is was 21mb. I can't send any qvga or VGA video as an MMS with file sizes this high. Any suggestions?
I do have a suggestion. Video Kit from the Play Store. I had the same issue and wanted to share videos by text. With Video Kit you can take the video in the best 1080 setting then open the app and load the video into the app. Then you can compress the video to a multitude of sizes. I did have to experiment with different possible options to learn what works for texting or email. Using the app takes some time to compress the video but it works and has impressed me on what is possible.
