If you have received the latest version of Android for the Verizon Motorola Droid Razr HD and have lost root privileges in the process you may be in luck. Developer "Tucstwo" has released an updated version of the Motochopper root exploit which will work on the latest ota update for the RAZR HD. It should be noted that if you still have an unlocked bootloader you will not want to take any ota updates as they will patch the unlocked bootloader. However if you aren't worried about loosing your unlocked bootloader it may be beneficial to update now that you can root. This method has to be one of the easiest ever. All you have to do is download the file, unzip it, plug in your phone, and click run.bat. Super easy! Head to the source link for the download.
really? followed the link and it says:

not quite as easy as plugging in your phone and running a .bat file. seems way more complicated than that actually. with all sorts of warnings that if its not done perfectly it will brick your phone.
