Yea. My brother has sg3 and he gets like 5 hours of use.

Dude needs to check his wakelocks. Attached was my S3 most recently before I traded it for the Razr M (which gets amazing battery IMO).

Razr M most recently got 17 hours usage and 3 hours screen time with 33% left. It was pretty nice!

I really have a hard time believing this. You were essentially streaming or at the least prefetching a 720p+ video, watching it, for "about" an hour. I really don't think so. How about 30 minutes?

What can I tell you, sorry I did not post screen shots or take more accurate measurements; next time I'll be sure to provide "proof" for what it's worth.

I wanted to drain my battery fully before charging it. My indicator was at 3%. I found an hour long HD video on YouTube and started playing it (on WiFi). The phone shut down "about" an hour later. Maybe it was 45 minutes, do you really care?

Bottom line, the battery in this phone is phenomenal.

My battery usage screen currently says it's been over 3 days, 7 hours, etc. I thought the stats were supposed to reset when you plugged it in? I've definitely charged it in the last 3 days. haha
Does it only reset after you charge it to 100%?

My maxx came in today. The battery was at roughly 48% now with over two hours of screen time and installing over 20 apps, I'm at 18%

Yes you have to be at 100% before stats will reset.

Your battery could have suffered on 3g because the phone may have been constantly searching. Unless you switched to 3g and turned lte off. You can get a app that will make you able to have cdma radio only. That should help tremendously when in areas with no 4g

I certainly thought it was for me...my MAXX HD is on it's wait to be delivered tomorrow(ordered Friday).

Yea but its easy to see a cheat. Cuz the graph chart will clime when its getting charged or has been charged. Real chart will steadily decrease and never rise unless its been on a charger.

My first day on the Maxx HD



So this is actually about 22 hours, not 24. The screenshot says 21 hours - I'm not sure where the other hour went. It's been on since 11pm PST last night at 100% when the SmartActions shut down data, gps, wifi, bluetooth and then turned them back on at 8am.

Here;s the breakdown for the other 14 hours:

• Wifi on 100% of the 14 hours
• 5 hours of total screen time at full bright
• 2 hours of voice calls
• 1 hour run - GPS, Garmin app, screen full bright the whole time, music running for the whole run
• 30 minute GPS drive using google nav
• 90 mins of browsing during lunch (alone) over LTE + some through the day (maybe a total of 2 hours)
• Other random use (it's my first day, still messing around with it.

To me, having about 1/4 battery left after all that feels pretty good. On most days, I would not browse for 2 hours - but I'd have much heavier email and facebook. Either way, I got through the day with some to spare.
