Ive gotten several reboots today just randomly, usually after sending a message. It just goes to boot screen, not all the way back to M, just to when the actual animation starts. I am still running the stock 1.1ghz kernel, should I switch to 1ghz or slower, or medium voltage to try to stop it?

I've had one random reboot and it was today. I don't know if it was running hot or not bc my setcpu is not updating at all. How's ur setcpu working? (If ur running it)

guitarboy, try going into Performance in Elite Setting and just dial back the 1100 kernel to 900 or 1000 first. It's been a recurrent issue for me on all GB ROMs. My stock kernel on Froyo was 1.1 slayher and I've been unable to run 1.1 on any of the GB roms for whatever reason. Once I've dialed it back the random reboots go away, in my experience. It's def not the ROM, my hunch is it has something to do with GB itself...

I had one reboot on the 1st night I had this setup.
Since then it's been running flawlessly.
Stock kernel and not using SetCPU at all.

any apps that might not be 100% GB friendly?
while it might be GB itself causing a problem, could always be a incomptibilty with an app and vice versa

yeah I just set to run 250-1000, see how it works. It wasnt running hot at all, it just happened randomly, and didnt freeze before or anything, which is the really odd part.
And ive been running UD 3.0.1 until last night, and had it for as long as its been out and never had a reboot, maybe my phone just plays better with the kernel I was using with it then it does with this kernel.
Although, aside from the random reboots, this rom runs very smooth, got it looking the way I like it, and it is awesome.
And no, i dont use set cpu, i used to but seeing as theres a built in governor, theres no need to waste the ram on set cpu

Ok I have been having trouble with random reboots with all GB ROMs as well... until now.

At first I assumed it was kernel related but so many different kernels couldn't be bad.

I installed project elite and really paid attention to the titanium restore instructions, simply selecting the "restore apps only" button is not enough you must deselect everything that's red and anything pertaining to bluetooth.

I did all this and I've been running at 1100 smoothly and very cool thus far with not one single random reboot.

    Hope this helps
