Random Media Pausing

Why does my Samsung Galaxy s8 plus randomly pause while media apps are playing? Also the Samsung music app pauses when ever I unlock the phone.

No, all of my media apps, YouTube, fb videos, you name it, randomly pause whether the phone's awake or not, but the Samsung music app also pauses when I unlock or wake up my phone.

Do you have power saving on? Also to make sure there is no restriction on for background data on those apps... Just a start to trouble shoot

I tried turning the power saving mode off and restarting the phone, no help, I checked several apps that are part of the issue, all have background unrestricted. I tried wiping the cache partition, didn't help. I've turned on and off every setting in the apps and in the phone settings I could find, no help.

Does it happen on wifi and cellular data? On both?

I haven't turned my wifi on in a while, so I'm not sure.

I can't think of anything else other than a full reset which is extreme..
