Random calling *22899

Yes you can try to dial *22899 directly. If it doesn't work then add *22899 as a contact and then call the contact.

You can indeed dial it in and it works. Though I doubt it did anything for me. Very interesting though, as I always thought it just updated PRL when you removed and reinserted the SIM card from what I have read in the past.

At certain times I will look down at my phone and it is calling *22899 I believe. I never fail it and there is nothing on the other end. Just wondering if anyone else is having similar issues

on the phone with Verizon about this right now, guys says its supposed to happen sometimes, this has been happening for about a week now and as soon as it hangs up it dials it again it will do this about 5 times consecutively.

wish i knew what is up...
