It's in the op as stated above.

Download and save file to sd-ext!!!

Boot into recovery.
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Under mounts and storage format system.
Under advanced wipe dalvik cache.
Select install zip from sd.
Select location you saved it to.
Finally select the 1.8 zip.

I see you figured it out, but now it's here for those who don't know or don't want to look back. LOL!

Is there any way to keep or add the quick office app back into your rom? ?

Pull it from the stock ROM, use Root Explorer and drop it in /system/app/set the permissions to rw-r-r.

According to the op that is missing one step and that is wipe data/factory reset.

Lol yea I did run the script and I've got to say this thing is moving without a hitch...with the powerboost from 1.7 I was getting almost 15 hours battery life with normal usage..hopefully ill see the same here.
